Ye Rin Mok is a Los Angeles based photographer who’s amassed an impressive array of clients over the years. A self described “passive” photographer, she patiently waits for the right moments to arise, resulting in work that reflects her instinctual, observant style. Read on to see what’s been comprising her present thoughts and moments.

Present Day
PS: What's a typical day like for you?

I'm a freelance photographer, so my typical day normally depends on if I have a shoot that day. I start my day with yoga. I try to get at least fifteen minutes even if I have a long shoot day ahead of me. When I'm not shooting, I'm near my desk, working on my photos or emails, also wasting a lot of time on social media and YouTube videos. My boyfriend and I like to walk to a local coffee shop, sometimes I go hit some golf balls. At nighttime we usually watch a movie or TV show.

Present Inspiration
PS: What's inspiring you lately?

I'm inspired by my new website! I'm looking forward to making new work.

Present Community
PS: What company are you keeping?

I started learning to play golf from my dad a year ago and I've been really enjoying it. I feel like I'm a part of a big group of Korean ajumma and ahjussi golf players.

Present Place
PS: Favorite LA spots lately?

Arcana and Costco.

Present Moment
PS: How do you stay present?

Practicing yoga and taking cold showers.
